We're based in NYC and backed by the investors behind household brands like Quip, Caraway and Peloton. Our founders arrive with experience in partnerships, real estate acquisitions and venture building at leading real estate companies like Oxford Properties, SL Green and Redfin.

We’re an ambitious group of problem solvers innovating across software, design and logistics, and we’re looking for entrepreneurial teammates who like a challenge.

The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Manager based in Vietnam to ensure the highest quality standards across our supply chain. This role will be reporting to our Director of Quality and will play a critical role in maintaining product quality, fostering continuous improvement, and serving as a liaison between our North American team and our vendors in Vietnam. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Day To Day

  • Conduct regular on-site quality inspections at vendor facilities to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications.
  • Perform audits of vendor processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Document inspection results and provide detailed reports to the North American team.
  • Collaborate with vendors to implement corrective actions and process improvements to address quality issues.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and improve overall manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions for vendors on quality standards and best practices.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for addressing vendor quality issues raised by the North American team.
  • Investigate root causes of quality issues and develop actionable solutions.
  • Ensure timely resolution of issues and maintain open communication between all stakeholders.
  • Bridge the communication gap between North America and Vietnam teams to ensure alignment on quality expectations.
  • Partner with our Asia quality team to develop processes and expand our quality assurance operations.
  • Provide regular updates to the North American team regarding vendor performance, inspection outcomes, and improvement plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and quality issues.
  • Prepare periodic reports summarizing vendor performance and progress on improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Vietnamese and preferably Mandarin.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to vendor locations across Vietnam.
  • Experience working with North American companies or international teams.
  • Familiarity with standardized tests, IQC, IPQC, FQC quality inspection processes and other quality management systems.
  • Familiarity with product compliance testing and requirements.

Bonus Points

  • Training or certification in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or similar methodologies.
