About Branch

Branch is shaking up the $46B office furniture industry to create work experiences for the 21st century: easy, flexible and smart so you can sit down (or stand) and get to work.

We're based in NYC and backed by the investors behind household brands and products like Peloton, Feastables, Eight Sleep, Caraway and Venmo. We’re an ambitious group of problem solvers innovating across design, software, health and logistics, and we’re looking for entrepreneurial teammates who like a challenge.

The Opportunity

When we launched Branch in 2019, our original mission was making it easy for teams of all sizes to furnish a corporate office with the speed and cost of a big box store, but the ease, ergonomics and quality of high-end contract furniture. During COVID, we put that mission on hold to support the millions of new remote workers creating workspaces at home.

Now the world is changing again. Over the past two years, we’ve had a front-row view as many organizations have returned to the office, with more adopting a hybrid approach. Branch is uniquely positioned to become the partner of choice for companies that want to create inspiring and ergonomic workspaces anywhere their team works, whether remote, hybrid, or in the office full-time—all without breaking the bank.

We’re already doing it: our office products have achieved rave reviews from startups and landlords to F500 companies and institutions like Google, Shopify, LVMH, SpaceX and MIT. We’ve built Branch Business to eight figures of annual revenue, and it’s time to take it to the next level, driven by partnerships in the commercial real estate ecosystem.

The Role

We’re hiring a Senior Account Executive in San Francisco to lead revenue growth across the West Coast, a core hub for our tenant and commercial real estate business.  In this role you’ll own the full-cycle motion for $40K–$500K+ Tenant and Landlord deals, converting high-intent inbound demand while building a repeatable engine of tenant and commercial real estate referrals and multi-million-dollar landlord partnerships.

You’ll also hunt and land new high-potential landlord accounts that offer significant repeat business opportunities in the years to come.

This is a strategically critical role. You’ll be the face of Branch in the West, partnering closely with our San Francisco-based BD lead, who will be building a referral pipeline via in-person meetings with office brokers and designers. You’ll leverage our tenant and industry relationships as social proof, and crack open new portfolios that can fuel years of expansion.

You’ll also collaborate closely with our internal Operations teams to ensure large projects are delivered flawlessly, driving lifetime value and unlocking upsell and expansion opportunities.

If you know how to win complex deals, navigate industry stakeholders, and turn warm networks into scalable revenue streams, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day)

West Coast Market Penetration

  • Work our West Coast territory with a focus on SF, prioritizing $40K–$500K+ Tenant and commercial real estate opportunities.
  • Run a disciplined high-intent inbound engine, driving qualified deals to close with urgency and precision.
  • Partner with our SF BDR to convert broker introductions into a consistent flow of closed-won business.
  • Maintain a proactive outbound rhythm into high-value landlord portfolios, using existing landlord successes as social proof.
  • Map key landlords, brokers, designers, and high-value tenants to identify new entry points.

Deal Execution & Closing Excellence

  • Lead multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving brokers, landlords, tenant leadership, design partners, and internal Ops.
  • Run tight, solutions-driven discovery, shaping demand, not just qualifying it.
  • Deliver clear proposals, quote packages, timelines, and value narratives tailored to different customer personas.
  • Manage pricing and commercial conversations with confidence and discipline.

Landlord & Broker Strategy

  • Develop repeatable playbooks for landing and expanding landlord relationships.
  • Build trusted broker networks through fast responses, strong tenant outcomes, and high-value collaboration.
  • Create a reliable CRE referral engine by maintaining top-of-funnel visibility with SF brokerages, A&D firms, and workplace influencers.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work hand-in-glove with Operations to ensure installs, logistics, and on-site execution for large projects run seamlessly.
  • Identify risks early, communicate proactively, and quarterback internal teams to protect timelines and the customer experience.
  • Provide structured market feedback on product, pricing, competitive signals, and CRE trends.

Revenue Expansion & Long-Term Value

  • Drive early expansion by uncovering additional floors, suites, phases, and cross-office opportunities.
  • Systematically grow multi-location tenants and landlord portfolios through strong account hygiene and proactive account planning.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of full-cycle sales experience closing mid-market and enterprise deals.
  • Experience in office furniture, proptech, or related spaces and familiarity with CRE stakeholders (brokers, landlords, designers).
  • Demonstrated success exceeding quota through discovery, consultative selling, and multi-stakeholder deal management.
  • Strong outbound capabilities into strategic accounts - targeted & relationship-driven
  • Comfortable owning a region, moving fast, and representing Branch with SF’s broker and landlord community.
  • Highly organized and commercially sharp; disciplined with CRM and effective at aligning internal teams around large projects.
  • Low-ego, collaborative, team-first mindset, who believes that feedback is a gift.
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator who thrives in ambiguity.
  • A true hunter — persistent, resilient, and skilled at pushing through obstacles.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in commercial real estate sales (brokerage, A&D, proptech).
  • Deep understanding of CRE principles and market dynamics; fluent in the language of brokers and landlords.
  • Existing broker or A&D relationships in the Bay Area.
  • Experience in commercial furniture, interiors, or workplace strategy (especially with design or tenant improvement buyers).
  • Passion for design, wellness, real estate, and the built environment.
