About Branch

Branch is shaking up the $46B office furniture industry to create an office experience for the 21st century. We're based in NYC and backed by investors behind household brands like Quip, Caraway and Peloton. Our founders arrive with experience in partnerships, real estate and venture building at leading companies like Oxford Properties, SL Green and Redfin.

We're an ambitious group of problem solvers innovating across software, design and logistics, and we're looking for entrepreneurial teammates who like a challenge.

The Role

Branch is growing across multiple channels, and our partnerships are at the center of that growth. We're looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager to source, close and scale our most important external relationships, from enterprise wholesale accounts to marketplace expansion to new revenue lines we haven't fully built yet.

This is not a role where you inherit a playbook. You'll need to size opportunities quickly, make bets on where to focus, and then execute with speed and precision. The mandate is wide-ranging: from building and executing on approach to key account management, to helping optimize our presence on Amazon and vertical marketplaces, to licensing exclusive IP for co-branded products that expand our serviceable market, to anything else that drives revenue through external relationships. The expectation is that you prioritize ruthlessly and move fast on what matters, with a consistent focus on driving revenue and fantastic customer experiences across every channel we sell.

Reporting to our Director of Partnerships, this is a high-visibility, hands-on and highly impactful role that touches nearly every part of the business. The right person for this role has the strategic instincts to frame complex decisions and the operational hustle to close deals and ship results: think the analytical rigor of a top-tier consultant and the impatience of a founder. You'll shape how we think about external relationships, not just manage them. If you want to build the commercial engine behind a company reshaping how people work, we'd love to meet you.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the end-to-end playbook for growing Branch's key wholesale and partner accounts, including renewals, expansions, troubleshooting and strategic planning
  • Build and optimize our marketplace presence, with Amazon as a priority. This includes catalog strategy, pricing, advertising, operations and review management
  • Identify brand-aligned and complementary partner products for Branch
  • Identify, negotiate and execute impactful IP licensing opportunities for Branch
  • Prioritize, pitch and ship a wide range of revenue-driving opportunities
  • Build repeatable systems, not just one-off wins. Each partnership you close should teach us how to close the next ten
  • Develop frameworks that convey where to invest and where to pass (not every opportunity is worth pursuing, and part of your job is making that case clearly)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, design, product, customer success, and finance to ensure partnerships translate into execution, not just signatures

What We're Looking For

  • 1-4 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, past founding experience, or BD / operations / partnerships at a high-growth company
  • A proven self-starter who takes ownership, moves fast, and follows through
  • Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail across multiple workstreams and stakeholders
  • Strong communicator with high EQ; you balance trust, negotiation and maintaining accountability quickly with partners and cross-functional teams alike
  • Strong commercial instincts; you understand how deals create value and you can model outcomes, structure terms and identify risks without hand-holding
  • Comfort with ambiguity and speed; you don't need permission to act, and you're not waiting for perfect information
  • Superlative attention to detail. You read contracts closely, catch the clause that matters, and remember the detail from three months ago that changes the negotiation
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools to accelerate work, whether drafting materials, analyzing data, or building scalable processes, while remaining accountable for quality
  • Strong bias for action and a thirst to learn
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Amazon Seller Central
  • Direct experience in wholesale, retail partnerships or licensing
  • Background in furniture, home goods, consumer durables or B2B distribution
  • Familiarity with contract negotiation and commercial legal terms
  • A passion for productivity, the built environment, and improving the objects we interact with for eight plus hours a day
