The Role
Branch is looking for a talented Content and Campaigns Manager to own the full spectrum of content, brand voice, and merchandising throughout the user journey at Branch. This is an exceptional opportunity to take on a high-visibility, high-impact role that combines creative excellence with strategic oversight of our brand communication and user experience at the most critical points of the user journey. You'll be responsible for crafting our brand voice across all touchpoints, coordinating seasonal sales and product launches, owning dedicated content marketing initiatives, and optimizing website copy and merchandising to drive engagement and conversions.
The ideal candidate brings a background in copywriting, content strategy, and campaign management, preferably in a high-growth DTC or ecommerce environment. You have a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling, and a love for project management. Your writing is sharp and soulful, and adaptable to various formats and audiences. You understand the nuances of ecommerce merchandising and how to craft compelling product narratives that drive measurable improvements to engagement, conversion and retention.
In your first ninety days at Branch, you'll immerse yourself in our brand voice and product offerings, working closely with our growth marketing and digital product teams to understand our existing content approach and identify opportunities for improvement. As you refine our content pillars, you'll start to take ownership of upcoming campaigns. You'll also conduct a comprehensive audit of our website copy and merchandising strategy, developing a roadmap for optimization and AB testing.

Day To Day
Your day-to-day portfolio can be separated into three areas spanning the Growth and Digital Product teams at Branch:
Promotional & Product Launch Campaigns
- Author and maintain a monthly campaign content calendar, including regular seasonal programming (promotional and non-promotional), ad hoc sales, and product launches
- End-to-end ownership of theme generation, copy creation and general creative coordination for all promotional work, from major seasonal campaigns to ad-hoc sales
- End-to-end copy creation and general creative coordination for new product launches across the digital merchandising and marketing stack
- Develop creative briefs, timelines, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful campaign execution
- Analyze campaign performance and provide insights for future improvements
- Own general merchandising of the Branch ecommerce site, from written copy across UX and product placements, to navigation content, to visual assets and imagery
- In partnership with the team, own tactical merchandising tasks including copy updates, product set up, categorization, and promotional campaign set up
- Define, prioritize and run AB tests for key placements across UX and product-specific copy, imagery and more to optimize and personalize the consumer journey
- Drive revenue growth through effective planning, execution, and optimization of ecommerce initiatives. Analyze sales data, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- In partnership with our SEO agency, oversee blog post publication and copy updates to facilitate on-page SEO
- In partnership with our B2B team, author long-form content for SEO and lead generation
- Conduct regular research and audits of the competitive landscape for inspiration on new campaign ideas, website merchandising placements, and value-add content
- Be the primary owner of the written word at Branch
- Audit and optimize copy cross-channel and on-site for a consistent brand experience
- Develop and maintain the written voice of the company across all surfaces, including website, email, social media, and advertising
- Create style guides and train team members on brand voice and tone
- Ensure consistency in messaging across all channels and touchpoints
- 2-5+ years work experience at an ecommerce brand with content, copy, and/or merchandising experience; experience with Shopify strongly preferred
- Superlative writing skills, you’re the go-to editor in your family and friend groups
- Exceptional project management skills; perhaps you run your life in Notion
- Extreme attention to detail in both written content and project execution
- Fluency with at least one AB testing tool and measuring success
- A passion for delightful digital experiences: you’re in the know on UX + lifecycle marketing best practices, and appreciate the nuances of a seamless customer journey
- A desire to build a strong brand voice with a keen design eye: you’re able to adhere to and build on existing brand guidelines, including a writing style guide
- Clear, structured and proactive communication to wrangle cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in SEO best practices to incorporate into our content strategy
- Experience with lifecycle marketing tools like Klaviyo and Attentive
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for more complex AB tests and templates
- Previous experience at a high-growth DTC company or agency
- A love for furniture, productivity and the built environment
